Three Wheeled Buggies

New figures show that the three-wheeled buggies, that symbol of the noughties that had more money than common sense, are in a steep decline. They've been replaced with four-wheelers that are able to handle a wider range of terrain, while also looking stylish and easy to push.

She said "it feels sturdy to push and very solid when traversing difficult terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable and require occasionally pumping) have suspension built-in, which was very comfortable for my children.

Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. You want the seat to be big enough to allow your child to feel comfortable and allow them to lie down. Certain three wheeler pushchairs-wheel buggies have an option to lie flat completely while others allow the parent to be facing one.

This can be an issue if you're using it as an exercise bike or to be able to get through narrow doorways when out and out and about. Many models have compact 3 wheel stroller folding options that allow you to remove the front wheels and store them more compactly.

Easy to manoeuvre

One of the primary benefits to a three-wheeled buggy is that it is much easier to maneuver, especially with a child in tow. The way in which they are built ensures that the front wheels spin on a dime and are incredibly easy to maneuver and are ideal for tricky terrain such as parks, cobbles, bumpy pavements and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3 wheeler buggy-wheeler with her newborn and toddler and wrote: "The Terrain was a pleasure to maneuver over tough ground, with the swivel front wheel being especially helpful. I was also amazed by the way it dealt with kerbs using the hand-operated break. It was extremely stable when going downhill or on uneven terrain."

The only downside to this amazing maneuverability is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheel pushchair with car seat-wheel buggy may make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something you should keep in mind when your home is one of the cities. If this is an issue then a 4-wheel buggy may be better for you.
