Cheap Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most lightweight single seater buggy for sale for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along an uneven path. It was able to handle this well, although it seemed to be a bit bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than the other strollers we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on various terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other things.

The carrycot and the seat both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy unlike other prams' hoods that are whipped back into toddlers' faces.
