1. Eufy RoboVac Edge G30

The G30 Edge is the newest model in Eufy's line of budget robot vacuum cleaners. It's a shiny black affair with blue and rose-gold accents that resemble a smartphone. It's easier to use than the previous models and comes with features like BoostIQ which automatically increases suction power for better cleaning of all surfaces. Smart navigation is used to prevent the repetition of the same areas that are common when using bounce-navigation.

It is effective in getting rid of pet hair, crumbs and dust from hard floors, but isn't as effective as the top models when it comes to getting rid of dust from carpet. In our tests, it failed to pick up 74% of the powder on hard floors and 26% on carpet.

The G30 Edge is unique in its ability to map out your home using digital maps. This lets it remember which spaces it has already cleaned and avoid returning to those rooms which is a major problem with other robots that rely on the use of old-fashioned magnetic tape to mark off no-go zones.

The G30 Edge also has other advantages. It has an "Find My Robot" mode that blasts out loud music until it is located and a directional keypad that allows you manually move the robot. It also comes with an auto return function that sends it back to its charging base when the battery is empty which is a crucial safety feature.

2. Neato Botvac D-Shape

The Neato Botvac D-Shape robot is a powerful machine with a wide array of intelligent features. It can clean floors efficiently and climb up high-pile carpets with ease. The app offers advanced features, such as boundary lines remote access to the robot when it is operating and a variety of other options.

This model is the latest in a long-running series of robots manufactured by Neato. It has a distinctive "D' shape when viewed above. This design comes with a variety of advantages such as improved corner cleaning and a larger dust container than the majority of models. The D-shape also enables the robot to access furniture better than robots with a circular design.

The D-Shape will stop briefly before beginning a cleaning process to make use of spinning infrared light to look over and evaluate the area. The i3+ EVO's obstacle avoidance isn't as effective as some of the other robots we evaluated, and it frequently encountered objects during our tests, such as handbags, shoes, and pet toys before continuing on its path. It also had difficulty dealing with salt that was coarse which it blew up and around rather than picking up.

The i3+ EVO includes a number of features that make it worth the additional cost over other Roomba models, such as a self-emptying dustbin and advanced control via the app. You can schedule cleanings and create custom routines. The Shark AI Best self emptying robot vacuum for pet hair and hardwood-Empty XL is cheaper than a lot of other robots we've reviewed, yet it offers advanced features such as mapping and an automatic self-emptying dustbin which holds a decent amount of dust. It was able to clean and maneuver well in a space with a mix of carpeting with low pile, bare floors, and a combination of both. The vacuum does a good job of picking up pet hair on carpeting. However it's not as powerful much power as our top selections.

However, the Roborock S4 Max is better constructed, takes less time to recharge than the Shark, and provides an array of automation and scheduling features and support for no-go zones. We'd still recommend the Shark when you're looking to buy something cheaper or if you prefer to use your mobile phone to monitor and control your device rather than an actual remote.

5. Bissell SpinWave Dry and Wet

It's difficult to find a robot that can combine mopping and vacuuming This one does it. The dual tank system of this robot allows it to mop or vacuum with the touch of a button.
